Now you don't have to worry about the Captain being pissed of at you. I found it on my vacation in Luxembourg at Clervaux.
This is a U.S. Sherman M4A3, the tank where the NG-logo is based of.
The sign near the tank reads:
"THIS U.S. SHERMAN M4A3 (7) OF COMPANY B, 2nd TANK BATTALION 9th ARMORED DIVISION IS THE ONLY KNOWN SURVIVING COMBAT VEHICLE OF THE DIVISION. PUT OUT OF ACTION ON DECEMBER 17, 1944 WHILE DEFENDING CLERVAUX HERE AT THE GATE TO THE CASTLE."
